Two months ago, I got a call from Pia of TravelBook.ph inviting me to be part of this month's issue of their magazine. TravelBook is the country's leading online travel agency today.
I appeared in the article featuring Climb Central Manila, yet the "biggest indoor sport climbing venue in the Philippines" located at Mandaluyong City's Greenfield District. For this story, TravelBook selected a male and a female blogger (from their pool of affiliates) that would scale Climb Central's towering walls with climbing routes of varying difficulties. The article written by Rhea Bernardino highlights the adrenaline-pumping activity as a way to curb those calories that our body might amass this season of love, giving, and pigging out!
I had so much fun, thanks to Rhea and the cheerful TravelBook gang. And since the photo shoot was not just a plain photo opportunity but a legit muscle-pumping feat, I had so much body pain! Haha! I actually got sick the day after. But wall climbing is totally cool. Certainly not going to be my last.
Wall climbing is new to me and I'm kind of sedentary for months when I got the call, but I ecstatically agreed right away. Opportunity to appear on a magazine comes not everyday!
